ELASTOMERIC COATINGS

When considering a paint system for your stucco, brick, block or concrete structure, a good choice may be a 100% acrylic, waterproof elastomeric coating. Although regular paints are acceptable and often times less expensive, they cannot provide the same level of protection as an elastomeric coating. Elastomeric coatings are thicker and much more flexible than regular paint. They can withstand wind driven rain which in turn protects your building interior from moisture. Because the coating is breathable, it also allows interior moisture vapors to pass through the coating.
